Every Bajan knows the sound — the crack of a domino coming down hard, then the laughter that follows. That's what Thursday afternoons sound like at Bajan Gold.
This is the heart of our week. Some of our members have been playing dominoes for sixty years and have the stories to prove it. Others are picking up cards for the first time since they were young. It doesn't matter which one you are. There's a seat at the table either way, and someone friendly beside you to show you the ropes.
We play dominoes, draughts, bridge, whist, and whatever else the room fancies that day. We keep it social, not serious — though we won't pretend the games don't get a little competitive once the dominoes are flowing.
What to expect on your first visit
You'll be greeted at the door by name — we make sure of it. Someone will introduce you around, get you a cold drink, and find you a game at whatever pace suits you. You don't need to bring anything or know anyone. Plenty of our members arrived for the first time not knowing a soul, and now they wouldn't miss a Thursday.
